Now that the cloud market reached maturity and nobody can imagine a world without cloud anymore, organizations need to embrace the capabilities of the cloud to transform their business and keep up with the developing and changing markets they are in. For Sentia this means that we should always listen to our customers and truly understand their business goals and needs. Seizing the opportunity to combine and deliver my technological and commercial experience to bring our company’s capabilities even closer to our customers, as of May 2022 I became responsible for the commercial teams in Belgium and the Netherlands while remaining CTO of Sentia Group.

Als CTO of Sentia Group I am responsible for our technical roadmap, our portfolio and product management. Close to the market and our customer to truly understand how we can help them achieve their goals by utilizing cloud technology. We do so by providing advisory & delivery, cloud control and optimization and digital experience monitoring solutions.

As CTO Amsio responsible for all infrasructure, technical personell and operatioal processes. Amsio is a leading cloud service provider with 3 datacenter locations in the Netherlands. Amsio has a highly motivated team of experts who help companies with their transition to the cloud using high performance private clouds, highly available infrastructure as a service, managed services and hybrid cloud. We work for companies like KLM, DHL, Heineken, Neways, Boon Edam and Van Beest. Amsio has become part of the Sentia Group since late 2017.

We've build a complete orchestration platform to provide SAS software solutions (both 9.4 and Viya) from our datacenters.

As IT manager responsible for all technical staff, support organization. Final technical responsibility on large hosting environments and on migrating different platforms.Responsible for building out (end to end) Microsoft & *Nix based hosting platforms:- Shared webhosting based on FreeBSD, CentOS Linux, high available, load balanced platforms (NFS backed based on EMC)- Shared webhosting based on Windows Server 2003R2, 2008R2 and 2012R2;- Hosted Exchange based on HMC 4.5 (Exchange 2007), Exchange 2010 (/Hosting) and later migrating 2007 to 2013 based on an ExtendASP platform;- Mail platform for tens of thousands of mailboxes based on Unix (FreeBSD)- Online Backup platform;This included operational platforms, provisioning platform (mainly C# and PHP) and geo-redundant infrastructure platforms.

Responsible for migrating a large Unix based hosting platform to a new version. Also migrating IP uplinks to autonymous system based on quagga, later Foundry.As network cosultant also responsible for the health of the IP network (routing and switching).
