As senior programme manager at Save the Children and ICDI, I have been responsible for overseeing long term projects in Eastern Europe and Asia and Africa. These project focus on the healthy development of children and young people and building and improving informal and formal child protection and care systems. In these fields I am an experienced trainer, action researcher and M&E specialist. I have work experience in Central America, Eastern Europe and Asia. My strengths lie in building relationships, supporting project partners and creating coalitions of diverse but like minded people to achieve a world where children can claim their rightful space and thrive.I am looking for new opportunities in the fields of development work, child development, child protection, social work or related fields. Although I enjoy general project management, I thrive mostly when interacting with the people who are the target of interventions, so we can work together on solutions, engage in action research en build capacity of partners and stakeholders. Outside work I enjoy a variety of sports, fishing, travelling and reading on topics ranging from science and economics to politics.
