Nav Innovations has been a highly technical focused company in Mobile domain and primary worked on solution/product developments, training and consulting activities. The focus areas were embedded platforms, Android middleware customizations and application development, Linux internals and device drivers. It focused on developments of IOT (Internet of Things) platform and solutions. Consequent to the market disruptions post covid, initiated closure and has been formally closed in 2021.

Responsible for operations and delivery for Sonim's rugged mobile phones for its development at India Development Center(IDC). This has been the only development Centre of Sonim Technologies with about 100+ employees in this duration. Sonim Technologies is a US company based in San Mateo, CA.

- Part of Management team of Kyocera Wireless (India) for formulation of strategy, roadmap, vision and directions for India operations. Had been part of growth when the Indian operations increased from 250 to 550 people. - As Software Business Unit Head (Product Development), was driving software development activities for high/ medium/ low tier CDMA mobile phones. - Managed 200+ team to deliver low and medium tier CDMA phones from India Centre. - Successfully managed Hardware, Mechanical, System Engineering, Human Factor Engineering and Industrial Engineering teams from Nov’06 to Nov’07. - Involved in product roadmap identification, development, manufacturing, gaining customer acceptance and sustenance of product development efforts.

- Significantly contributed in growth of embedded division since its formation in 1999. Started with Consumer Electronics vertical.- Had been sub-vertical head for the Mobile Computing Group, which became Mobile Devices and Applications (MDA) vertical from April 2003. - Handled strategic accounts from all geographies – US, Europe and Japan.- Account development and delivery with hard financial target, Business growth, work innovation, operational efficiency being key KPAs- Managed OMAP partnerships with TI as OTC partner and Symbian Competency Centre (SCC) with Symbian. - Responsible for Center of Excellence (COE) for Mobile Group for solutions development and skill building.

- Lead the strategic project of Transportation Group of Siemens for the development of a prototype of Radio Train Control. Later this was successfully demonstrated in field.- Responsible for Line of Business for Automation Group for one year.- Worked for two and half years in telecommunications domain on GSM Network Management modules (OMS development). Leveraged relationship to move OMS activities to Bangalore and was responsible for managing teams and deliveries.

Has been in the Network communication group working on Wide Area Network and VSAT team.

Has been part of PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) checkout group which was responsible for development of prelaunch checkout of the vehicle. Developed checkout modules on minicomputer and microprocessor based systems specially on FDIR (Failure Detection Isolation and Recovery) and field interface subsystem. Later involved in development of second stage liquid propellant filling system.
