I am a Cinematographer owner/operator who shoots primarily with my Canon C300 Mark ii and a set of Carl Zeiss Super Speed Compact Prime lenses.Originally from Britain I've lived and worked in many locations. I lived in Athens Greece for three years, then Bitburg, Germany also for three years before moving to the US. In the Autumn of 2017 I moved to and worked in Europe for three years. I am now based out of Portland, Oregon in the the US. I started my film career in the TV studio on the production floor as a camera operator, lighting technician and in the control room running the switcher, remotes and sound board. I then started doing more field shoots and producing short educational films for the Washington State Department of Ecology. This lead to wanting to do more film and I began working in various roles including Director, DP, grip and AC creating short narrative films, documentaries and corporate films.My passion for filmmaking goes all the way back to my High School days when I studied Black and White still photography and spent hours upon hours in the dark room.
