The Tauri Group manages the DHS BioWatch SPO, serving as the lead integrator. The SPO coordinates program activities with federal, state, and local officials from the medical and public health, law enforcement, and first responder communities.Senior Analyst and Policy Advisor to the Assessment & Development Group (ADG).Accomplishments included:- Coordinated with federal, state, and local entities in testing prototype and fielded bioterrorism detection systems. Led the planning and had oversight of the BioWatch Gen-3 Field Test in Chicago. Effectively planned and successfully executed a complex and groundbreaking test in record time across 18 organizations in Chicago and Cook County, concurrent with BioWatch Generation 2 operations, ensuring no loss of jurisdictional biological threat protection.- Managed the Technology Readiness Assessment (TRA) of Gen-3 in support of an Acquisition Decision Event (ADE). Established an Interagency Agreement (IAA) with a Federally Funded Research and Development Corporation (FFRDC), the Institute of Defense Analyses (IDA), utilizing the guidelines set in the Technology Readiness Assessment Deskbook (Defense Research and Engineering (DDR&E), July 2009), and the Chemical Biological Defense Program Technology Transition Handbook (Joint Chemical Biological Defense Program, July 2005). The Technology Readiness Level (TRL) resulting from this effort formed the basis for a key line of reporting informing a decision milestone before proceeding to the next phase of the Gen-3 acquisition.

Principle Investigator (PI) for Joint Capability Technology Demonstration (JCTD) initiatives, Program Manager (PM) for System acquisitions and S&T efforts in Europe & the Americas. Activities included: PI for the Transnational Information Sharing Cooperation (TISC), Shadow Harvest, Daily Watch and the Joint Multi-Mission Electro-Optics System (JMMES) JCTDs. Test & Evaluation support for the Submarine Diving Recompression System (SRDRS), a US Navy Program of Record. Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the Assessment & Development Group (ADG).

Special Operations Officer: Functional knowledge in Submarine Warfare, Diving and Salvage, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Mine and Naval Coastal Warfare, and expeditionary operations in single and joint service employment and training. Versed in the deliberate/adaptive planning process, Theater Security Cooperation, Campaign planning and execution and Joint Experimentation operations.
