I am Robert Walker, a dedicated professional with a diverse background and a passion for structural engineering. My career journey began with a proud tenure in the United States Marine Corps, where I served as a Corporal from 2008 to 2013. Utilizing the GI Bill, I transitioned to academia, earning an Associate of Science in Math and Science from Riverside City College in 2016.My academic pursuits continued at Arizona State University, where I honed my expertise in structural engineering. During my time at ASU, I contributed as a Teaching Assistant and grader, and gained hands-on experience through internships with esteemed organizations such as Charles Abbott Associates, Anvil Builders, and Gannett Fleming. These roles allowed me to develop a solid foundation in municipal and structural engineering.In 2021, I completed my Master of Science in Structural Engineering, marking a significant milestone in my professional development. Following my graduation, I joined Kimley-Horn, where I applied my skills in a dynamic environment from October 2020 to February 2024. Currently, I serve as an Engineering Associate for the City of Schertz, where I continue to contribute to impactful engineering projects.
