UEFA Licensed Football Coach, currently Manager of Hamilton Academical Women in the Scottish Women’s Premier League. Through previous and my current role, I have experience of working with a number of full and youth international footballers at club level and as a coach with the Scottish FA Regional Programme.As Manager of the Women’s Club, my role also Involves a wider remit with our Elite Performance players playing in the Next Gen programme. I have a passion for promoting youth players and can proudly attest to trusting in youth players to gain experience within my coaching sessions and eventual 1st Team debuts for those excelling. I believe that while sessions must be of benefit to the team and the team ethos, I also place high priority on ensuring players enjoy the atmosphere. In my experience, happy, enthusiastic and motivated players perform to higher levels and this stems from the training ground.As with any part time role, my remit also extends to backroom management which is not limited to Kit management, logistics and budget planning. From 2015 until summer 2023 I held the Assistant Manager position at the club where we won the inaugural Scottish Women’s Premier League 2 in 2016.
