Worked with Sunita Chandrasekaran to port the Smith-Waterman Algorithm,used in Bioinformatics research, to OpenACC code. Furthermore, we will be addingmy work to the project’s test suite. OpenACC is a set of GPU-focused directives thatsimplify the process of getting code to execute on a GPU.

I implemented a Continuous Integration procedure by way of Jenkins CI to assist in the production of a nightly build for the Stealth Linux Endpoint product. Using the Jenkins reporting tools suite, it is able to give highly detailed information about the status of any build-related issues. I also developed an extensive regression test framework to make test definition and execution much simpler as well as executing automatic regression tests on completion of a successful build. By instituting a nightly build process, it saves the development team a significant amount of time by communicating the most recent build status to the resort of the team.
