I am the CCO, (Chief Coaching Officer) at SparkEffect, the West Coast's premier talent solutions firm. SparkEffect has served over 20,000 individuals growing in their career, developing their leadership style, and navigating change. Leading our team of talented coaches, and continuing my work as an Executive Coach, has been my privilege for these last two years. I bring to SparkEffect two decades of business experience in executive roles with P&L responsibilities in organizations from Fortune 500 to Start-ups. Prior to Torchiana, I was the President of The Advantage Group, an international executive coaching and consulting practice. I also founded and lead Media Publisher Inc. (now Qumu), a successful venture-funded software company that was ultimately acquired by a public company. My own experiences in business, in building leaders and realizing the value of strong, trust-based teams is what inspires and informs my work in helping executives increase their personal leadership capabilities. I work internationally with CEOs, senior executives, and boards of directors from private companies to multi-billion dollar publicly traded organizations and have helped hundreds of business leaders improve their leadership and team effectiveness skills. I am a Founding Fellow at the Harvard Institute of Coaching, a member of Marshall Goldsmith’s Stakeholder-Centered Coaching Network, and am certified in various leadership assessment instruments
