With over two decades of leadership spanning U.S. special operations, intelligence, and commercial marine research sectors, Richard Byno has led high-stakes missions worldwide. Beginning his career as a Special Operations and Force Reconnaissance Marine. He then advanced to JSOC, where he executed precision counterterrorism and direct action missions, coordinating joint raids and high-value target apprehensions.Richard led a specialized NSA field operations unit, executing SIGINT and HUMINT missions through real-time intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination, directly supporting global operations in hostile environments. He later operated at the GS-14 with the CIA’s Special Activities Center (SAC), where he conducted covert operations, high-value target (HVT) explorations, and complex HUMINT/SIGINT missions in conflict zones.Now, as Managing Partner of Maritime Support Concepts (MSC), he leverages his operational expertise and commercial marine acumen to deliver turnkey maritime solutions for U.S. Special Operations, the Marine Corps, Defense Intelligence Agencies, and leading defense companies.
