Returned to school for a culinary degree and a year later, Executive Sous Chef of a 220-seat private Jersey shore restaurant and Executive Sous and Banquet Chef of a Sarasota, FL Country Club. Transitioning from culinary, Robert moved into technology sales #1 sales rep in region, #2 overall as a Legato inside sales rep, after 16 months promoted to Field Channel Sales then 4 months later, National Partner Manager. Year later, promoted to Sr. Channel Manager in Atlanta and after the EMC acquisition, the Manager of Global EMC Software Enablement. Final position at EMC was selling EMC Education and was the #1 sales rep for 7 quarters. After leaving EMC, with several other technology positions in between, Robert came to LANStatus where he created the SIP Partner Program that is still in place today. In 2016, left sales and became Chef Bob returning to the culinary arts with his own restaurant, Charlton's Grill and Tap. Chef Bob closed his location in Jan 2022 but still produces his sauces, dressings and gluten-free foods. At the same time he closed, he rejoined LANStatus as the Director of Operations to manage all the day-to-day operations for B2B and direct sales, vendor relationships, writing white papers, collateral, service and product offerings with all marketing, engineers project manager, and many not so fun day-to-day things no one else wanted to do but you have to keep the wheels turning.Forest for the Trees is how I view every day.
