After serving as an Occupational Therapist and a Director of Rehabilitation for over a decade, I decided to pursue my passion for Information Technology and Cybersecurity and enrolled in the Western Governor's University Cybersecurity and Information Assurance Bachelor's program. I am on track to graduate in mid 2022 and have already earned the ITIL, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+ certifications.I am currently working as an IT End User Analyst at Tennessee Valley Authority, where I support the migration of over 10,000 devices from Windows XP to Windows 10, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and provide technical assistance to end users. I leverage my leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that I developed as a US Marine and a supervising Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction. My goal is to transition into a role that allows me to apply my knowledge and skills in Information Technology and Cybersecurity to help organizations and individuals protect their systems, data, employees, and customers.
