Inspired by a book I read in college, I changed paths from veterinary science to one that has deepened my relationships and friendships with clients beyond what I ever imagined. The book emphasized the importance of building wealth beyond essential savings, which resonated with me as my parents had only invested in cash-equivalent vehicles.
