I was an early employee at this Plano, Texas based startup which provided software-defined networking (SDN) and network functions virtualization (NFV) solutions. My tenure culminated in running the Field Operations organization, encompassing sales engineering, quality assurance (QA), technical pre-sales, and post-sales support and customer success. My team collaborated with managed service providers to build and implement new service offerings.My early roles with Netsocket included hiring a QA team and building out a robust software product testing framework using test automation, guiding a pre-sales engineering team in customer trials and product deployments, and establishing and leading a customer support team.►► Position Highlights ►►✔Supported development and go-to market of IP Service Assurance product to optimize monitoring and troubleshooting of unified communications (UC) solution deployments. This product was sold to Nectar Services in 2013.✔Engaged with MSP partners to productize new solutions and offerings related to the Netsocket Virtual Edge product.✔Led the design and build out of the Network Operations Center (NOC) and the data center infrastructure to create the Cloud-based environment to enable our SDN product and provide real-time 24x monitoring and support.✔Directed the pre-sales engineering that led to the first $MM sale to a Fortune 500 account, resulting in significant revenue growth for this early-stage startup.

I performed all facets of software development, including solution architecture, design, and coding, in support of AT&T U-Verse deployments within the Automation and Tools Group.✔Developed software and supported on-site deployment team in testing and go-live of enterprise routers and switches in AT&T’s video hub offices.

Chiaro Networks was a Richardson, Texas based start-up that developed the Enstara router, a high-capacity core router for global internet service providers. Initially I was a member of the Product Verification and Test team and later moved to the Customer Support team responsible for monitoring and supporting the first three production Enstara routers within a major European service provider's backbone network.

BrightLink Networks was a Sunnyvale, California based start-up that developed the BOSS-1000, an optical cross connect product for the long-haul carrier market. Member of the Plano, TX based Product Verification and Test team responsible for system test and automation.

Member of the System Verification and Test team responsible for testing SONET add-drop multiplexer and DWDM products. Primarily responsible for automation and scripting of new feature and regression tests.
