Having worked for the world's third largest IT services company for eight years, I progressed through multiple roles to becoming a customer facing project manager working across a range of clients, including Public Sector and blue chip top 100 FTSE companies.Building on my experience at CSC I have moved on to become an IT Contractor and immediately challenged myself by moving into the SME and e-commerce sector. Working within the core programme team I was responsible for running the application and deployment workstreams. The application workstream was responsible for ensure that up to 200 core Diageo applications could be provisioned within the virtual desktop environment. The deployment workstream was responsible for designing and implementing the processes that would allow the rapid on boarding of up to 7000 Diageo staff and replacement of these existing machines with thin clients across Diageo globally.Key Achievements:Delivered 200 core Diageo applications for the virtual desktop environment.Managed an offshore development team based in India and successfully released software development cycles to bespoke Diageo applications to support virtual desktop architecture and application streaming.Managed onshore and offshore deployment resources to enable timely deployment to identified Diageo users.Was responsible for creating and deploying updates to Diageo’s standard operating environment.Created and managed financial deployment and application workstream budgets ensuring delays were mitigated to ensure that work was completed on budget.

This supported all aspects of management reporting, both internally within CSC and external reporting to our NHS accounts. In this role I managed a team of four and a budget of £300K pa.
