As Partner at Make the Works, Inc. and Art Fifty Two, he recognizes that business is an art form and is devoted to offering artists tools to translate their talent into revenue.Previously Robert managed business and product development, internet marketing strategy, and team building at Make the Works and Art52. Robert also served as President of Artexpo Studio from August 2009 to August 2012, and Vice President of Operations and Marketing at ArtSelect from May 1997 to January 2008.Before joining forces with ArtSelect, Robert worked in Los Angeles as a singer, songwriter, acting coach, and real estate developer. A true “jack-of-all-trades,” Robert has versatile experience in both business and the arts, which he is using to help build an artist-centric suite of tools to benefit serious artists to build their careers, and form alliances with like-minded organizations that benefit artists and the art industry.Accolades include Web Awards from the Web Marketing Association for outstanding achievement in website development in 2006 and 2007 and the Top 500 Internet Retailer Award from 2004-2008.Robert is immersed in arts both in and out of the office. In his free time, he works as Co-Founder and Director of Singing Cedars School, Inc., an early childhood program in Iowa, and as Founder of the Fairfield Musicians Club, an organization dedicated to cultural enrichment through developing local musical talent and productions.
