Lead consultant for the College of Health and Social Care responsible for establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with a wide range of external and internal partners. Gathered, researched, translated and provided a wide variety of data to inform, monitor, and evaluate provision, as well as, inform strategic planning. For instance, based on my LMI research, I proposed a change to curriculum content, to include a module on Leadership and Management. Used NSS and DLHE data to negotiate access to programmes. Provided quarterly data to support leadership monitoring and resource decisions. Based on consultation with students, academics and sector evidence I contributed to service planning, strategic direction, policies and service design for delivery of careers and employability support, for instance, I shifted resource from one-to-one interactions to curriculum by implementing and embedding additional careers and employability curriculum content, to improve access and inclusion, ensuring all content supported a diverse community and valued individuals, utilising a high level of knowledge, experience and understanding of sector relevant pedagogy. Increasing student engagement and uptake of wider services such as internships and guidance appointments. Designed and delivered bespoke careers and employability curriculum content and material in line with AHEA guidance on teaching excellence. Sought student and stakeholder feedback to review and monitor success and suitability resulting in improved NSS scores. Set up and co-facilitated a yearly HSC employer event. Co-led and devised the universities approach to enterprise and entrepreneurship. Project managed and led a team of interns to conduct a research project, resulting in the establishment of an employer forum and research paper. Lead a team of professionals to successfully implement the AHEA Employability Framework. Shared and promoted good practise via case studies and conferences.

As part of the then newly fostered multiagency teams (MAT) my role as a Personal Advisor was to assess, broker and co-ordinate services for young people, provide specialist advice and guidance to children, young people and families on aspects of health, social welfare and employment. Working in collaboration and partnership with education, health, social care, youth justice practitioners, and the voluntary and community sector. Holding specialisms in careers education and guidance, behaviour support, inclusion and pastoral support, as well as, youth offending, with a specific focus on school engagement. I provided and supported outreach services to support local families with additional needs, as well as, a family support programme aimed at involving and engaging parents and carers in their children's learning and in the day-to-day life of the service. As part of this role I used service data and consulted service users to propose, design, manage, facilitate and evaluate projects that support the team to achieve targets and outcomes for young people.Also responsible for safeguarding and child protection promoting the welfare of children and protect them from harm, as such I conducted, completed, lead and monitored Common Assessment Frameworks (CAF), Early Help Assessments (EHA) and Team Around a Child (TAF) assessments, including leading and monitoring the subsequent groups. In addition, I held lead responsibility for pre-employment programmes and as such arranged multiple careers fairs, designed programmes of activities to support yp into work such as, initiating a pioneering work experience and taster sessions in partnership with training providers, and targeted employment activities such as, internships for those with learning difficulties and disabilities.
