Currently working as devops & sysops at Webempresa, Rafael Ruiz (RR) is a system administrator specialized in Linux, CMS and technical support over 9 years. In his early career, he learned about WordPress, Joomla and Prestashop and was involved in different innovation initiatives. Now, he is studying a bachelor degree in Software Development. Within Webempresa, RR has participated in many international events about WordPress (CMS) such as WordCamp Madrid as well as acting as the Technical Support Team Leader. Also, he is frontend manager of the main applications of the company. In addition, he wrote a lot of articles about CMS and technical topics.  Among his hobbies and interests, RR likes to be aligned with the Open-Source Software (OSS) philosophy and initiatives. He is paying special attention to new programming languages like Go and new technologies that could be applied in the software industry, such as the use of containers, new frameworks (Vue, Nuxtjs…) and orchestration tools. Outside of work, he really enjoys hanging out with friends and discovering new cultures and languages. One of his goals for this year is passing the NOKEN N2 exam and becoming fluent in Japanese living in the country.
