I am the Site Coordinator of an after-school program with the Kentwood School District. Some of my duties include: organizing lesson plans, planning field trips, managing a staff, overseeing programming, and interacting with parents.

At the Spartan Stores YMCA, I worked as a Membership Specialist and a Leader on Duty. As a Leader on Duty, it was my responsibility to oversee all departments in the facility. I interacted with our members to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment. I truly enjoyed this opportunity to grow with members of the community and watched them achieve their health goals.

While working at the library I processed books, assisted patrons, and helped facilitate an Escape Room. I familiarized myself with various library systems and our library catalog.

As a Substitute Teacher, it was my responsibility to run the classroom in a teachers absence. I followed lesson plans that were left and monitored students work. I really immersed myself in each school setting by interacting with other teachers and the office staff.

Some of my responsibilities included: facilitating lessons for visiting groups, being responsible for a group of campers, leading various activities, lifeguarding groups of campers, keeping the waterfront clean, cleaning cabins and the lodge, running meals, and overseeing the daily waterfront schedule.

As an undergrad student at Grand Valley, I worked at our campus's call center. I was responsible for reaching out to Alumni and parents of current students to raise awareness about the Grand Valley Fund. The Grand Valley Fund is an umbrella fund on campus that designates money raised to areas on campus that are in need of funding. While working at the call center I was promoted to a Team Leader. My responsibilities included: monitoring calls, sending out mailings, assisting with interviews and training for new staff, as well as giving a team of my peers' evaluations.
