USPC is one of UNDP’s seven Global Policy Centres that aims to facilitate knowledge exchanges of SDG-enabling development solutions (e.g., sharing South Korea’s development experience with the developing world) and brokering new partnerships between South Korea and developing countries.Responsibilities:- Supported the Governance and Gender Team in the areas of anti-corruption and sexual and gender-based violence, as well as transparency, accountability, and digital governance.- Conducted preliminary research (e.g., media monitoring) on the Team’s key topics.- Drafted, edited, and proofread the Team’s working documents (e.g., concept notes, minutes, webnotes, reports, and publications), knowledge and communication products (e.g., newsletter), and correspondences, in addition to providing translations when necessary.- Documented and packaged South Korea’s policy tools and lessons learned for knowledge exchange and cooperation with partner countries (e.g., e-learning modules and resource book on the Clean Portal, South Korea’s anti-corruption policy tool).- Designed creative communications materials on the Team’s policy tools, program results, and lessons learned for partners and the public.- Provided holistic support in organizing partnership meetings and program events, such as webinars, workshops, study visits, conferences, and policy dialogues (e.g., study visit from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to learn about South Korea’s Sunflower Centers, one-stop service centers for victims of SGBV, and Training of Trainers Webinar on Addressing SGBV in the Digital Sphere, co-organized with the Korean National Police Agency for Bangladesh, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia).- Performed administrative and communications tasks as necessary in the day-to-day office operation.
