I've worked in Public Education as a high school Mathematics & Computer Science teacher for the past 8 years and as a dedicated educator, I've worked diligently to improve the grades of my students through empathetic leadership and mentorship. In 2015, I established the Computer Science department at Charlotte High School, where my students' AP pass rates exceed the national and global averages by approximately 10-15% higher annually. Additionally, for the last 7 years of my careers I have scored highly effective and have been awarded "Best and Brightest" scholarship when the program was still running. I also value my own personal growth and development, and in 2020 I decided to enroll in the Master's of Data Science program at the University of West Florida (UWF) to expand my skills and education level. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my graduate career and my expected graduation date is August 2022. I have experience in programming languages such as Python, SQL, R and Java, and in other skills such as data visualization.In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, enjoying nature, exploring generative art, and spending time with friends and family.
