The work-scope of this position is continuously changing, but regularly includes ROM and fixed-price estimation of custom and production manufacturing work, interfacing with the executive, program, engineering, and shop personnel, and customer support and communication.- Responsible to develop, review, and provide input on efforts for customer RFQ's.- Review and approve incoming RFQ's and assign engineering resources by weighing the requirements, complexity, and delivery needs against MTM's core competencies, current and future shop load, and corporate metrics and goals.- Support US/International sales staff as necessary to attract and retain new and current business.- Audit won and lost proposals to ensure estimation accuracy and opportunities for improvement in the estimation process as well as supporting continuous improvement efforts for awarded contracts.

- Responsible for cradle-to-grave process and quality planning for machining, fabrication, and inspection of components and assemblies for the commercial and defense-related Nuclear industries.- Responsibility as lead engineer for an ever-changing group of projects. This includes review and translation of customer and systems/sub-systems level requirements into manufacturing and quality planning in an effort to deliver the best product possible to the customer on time and within budget.- As a member of the Nuclear Division, I am regularly exposed to and required to interpret and acclimate manufacturing techniques to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code as well as other stringent Military and Commercial codes and specifications.- Regular work also includes quoting and estimation of new work for current and potential customers.

- Primary responsibility as a system test and integration engineer. Responsibilities include development of guided rocket test planning and procedures, as well as planning, safety, and risk coordination with major government test ranges.- Also responsible for on-site test engineering support for system verification testing including scheduling, coordination, and test conduction, analysis, and reporting.- Other responsibilities include Risk Management and Configuration Management, as well as design and build support for the GATR program

- Process specialist for the MK 90 propellant grain program and M829A3 tank ammunition program.- Implemented several process improvements resulting in program cost savings over $300K. This included development and implementation of project for use of reground plastic in MK 90 inhibiting materials, and a digital microscope for inspection of M829A3 stick propellant, which required self-learning and development of Visual Basic coding. - Regular work included process planning, troubleshooting, maintenance/ reliability analysis, and risk assessment tasks. - Work also included project engineering in the form of management of Capital Expenditure projects at a total cost of over $100K with Return on Investment under one year.

- Process and planning owner of the Flex Bearing and Blast Shield for NASA’s RSRM and Ares solid rocket programs.- Developed process changes to acclimate manufacturing processes and tooling to modifications in product design between the RSRM and Ares programs.- Led PFMEA efforts and a major failure investigation involving the Flex Bearing production tooling.
