CurrentServes as certifying official ensuring proper access to the facility. Programs badges and verifies security clearances in the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS) and Defense Information System for Security (DISS), or other provided system, authorizing proper access into the facility. Prepares visit authorization letters as necessary.Coordinates with customer security representatives to process security clearance requirements for employees.Tasked with operating, maintaining, and integrating; Intrusion detection systems, access control systems, CCTV systems, vehicle barriers and high security locks.Assists with the completion of all clearance documents to include the SF86 and reviews all security paperwork for accuracy, completion and submissionDevelops and conducts security indoctrinations into sensitive and classified programs, scheduling polygraphs.Investigate and report security violations, review and submit security clearance background investigations, administer, and submit fingerprints, prepare, foreign born waiver packages for personnel with foreign relationships needing a TS/SCI clearance, and other personnel security tasks as needed. Conducts debriefs when personnel detach and attach from the command.Analyzed terrorist activates, created procedures to safe guard national assets and guided the policy creator.Maintains Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) visitor control functionsUtilized, maintained and integrated COMSEC equipment to enhance security posture.Investigate and report security violations, infractions and incident reports to the appropriate entities assists with conducting SCIF self inspections in preparations for security auditsMaintain all security documentation and files per security requirementsPrepares required survey and inspection reports
