I started out as a commercial diver out of Washington State. Working throughout the hood canal area and Straights of Juan De Fuca. This was a demanding job physically being in the water 5 days a week for anywhere up to 5.5 hours out of 8.Later transitioning into a structural welder working on various high rise structures, trussing, cofferdams, and wall supports. Learning the trade over a 13 years.While a welder I decided to challenge myself at college and began that journey. 4.5 years later I now have AA and BS in Civil Engineering graduating with Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University. While finishing my degree and for the last few years I have been working as a Project Engineer, purchasing agent, and Project Manager. From 2017 I worked with R.E. Staite Engineering until last month I made a change.This change is more directed at learning new skills in a new industry. The challenge was accepted and the time to show up is now. Currently employed as a Project Engineer.
