• Climate metric design and implementation: Responsible for suite of climate investment risk metrics used to manage the net zero transition of the investment portfolio, including forward-looking alignment and transition finance metrics. Co-author of the Group’s inaugural Net Zero Transition Plan.• Sustainable product design: Led the design of the climate parameters of the Group’s workplace default fund (equity and fixed income), as part of an application to the FCA for a sustainability label under SDR. Representative Sustainable Finance experience:- Global general insurer: Lead of current climate action campaign in the build up to COP26. Managing a complex set of stakeholders across more than 30 organisations and providing technical input on decarbonisation challenges across multiple sectors. Trusted advisor to C-suite.- UK life insurer: Engagement lead for the development of the client’s climate risk strategy. Coordinated a peer benchmarking assessment across the UK life insurance market, delivered training to the Board, and led a regulatory gap assessment with a focus on SS3/19 and the Bank of England Climate Biennial Exploratory Scenario (CBES).- UK life insurer: Engagement lead for a climate risk modelling engagement exploring how the client’s asset portfolio is impacted under orderly, disorderly and failed transition scenarios. Supported with the development of the client’s inaugural TCFD report.- Global general insurer: Author of the responsible investment chapter of the client’s inaugural Sustainability Report and supported with the setting of broader sustainability strategy, commitments and associated metrics.- UK life insurer: Lead author of two stewardship reports aligned to the UK Stewardship Code 2020. I spent 6 weeks with the actuarial pensions advisory team in Leeds. I experienced a range of actuarial work, acquired and improved a wide variety of technical skills, and gained invaluable knowledge on types of pension schemes and topical issues surrounding the world of pensions. I worked as part of a small team to produce several audits for clients and also a due diligence report on a defined benefit pension scheme for a corporate transaction.

I worked on a part-time basis during my school and university holidays. My role included providing excellent customer service, dealing confidently with transactions, using problem solving skills to resolve queries, opening and closing the branch and respecting customer confidentiality.
