Facilitated leadership with staff and volunteers for supervision for 75+ children on a daily basis, with focus on group-oriented activities and programming. Working with outside community partners and business I assisted in organization and development of outside educational programs and activities. Under direct supervision of Program Supervisor, daily breifed and ensured all staff incorporated propper saftey protocals and worked through propper conflict management when applicable.

With many residents to serve, I reciprocated orders to the cooks, plated and presented food in an attractive manor. Showing the ability to lead a team in production of a product, while showing strong work ethic.

Through a diverse and expansive internship, I collaborated with administrative staff to implement policies approved by the City Council related to City Boards and Commissions. With the guidance of the City Clerk and City Manager, I created and conducted a workshop for incoming City Boards and Commissions regarding their roles, tasks, and available City resources. I also utilized an external software and created a network of surplus inventory to alleviate insurance burden on unused equipment estimated at more than $24,000 in value.

Coordination of community events for citizens of all ages and all types. Successfully carried out policies to ensure the safety of all sponsors and crowds of over 2000. Making many decisions in a timely and professional manor to ensure programs went on as planned.

With six camp locations and over 350 kids, I assisted in the planning and implementation of events for campers and staff. Had the flexibility to switch from an office setting to a counselor’s role in a moment’s notice.
