Construction Manager for a large cereal manufacturer located in Omaha, NE. Managed electrical, mechanical, plumbing, ironworkers, millwright and laborer trades and client needs to fulfull schedule, quality and budget requirements of the client. Managed "turn-around" type projects during scheduled and unscheduled down times at the facility. Scheduled projects around whole plant down times or individual line downtimes to efficiently complete projects on time or ahead of schedule. Implemented plant HACCP plans and SQF requirements for construction phases of projects.

Worked in the Fiber Optic and wireless telecommunications division for my first two years with the company and transitioned into the nuclear side of their operations first performing work at Yucca Mountain in Nevada then Hanford Nuclear Reservation in Washington state. After hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans the DOE budget for the Hanford site was nearly eliminated which aided in my transition into the nuclear power plant refurbishment or Steam Generator Replacement (SGR) industry.Operated as a Project Manager for the MetroMedia Fiber Network in Kansas City for the installation of their KC loop. Conducted site surveys, route surveys and constructabilty reviews for fiber optic tie-ins at their pop sites.Worked as a field engineer for the AT&T wireless 3G upgrade in Atlanta, GA and Orlando, FL. Managed the installation of the 3G upgrade equipment at several cell tower sites and assisted in the implementation and start-up of the 3G network in Atlanta. Was kept on board after the installation to assist with the trouble shooting efforts throughout the course of the start-up and coordinated efforts with the AT&T cell techs to efficiently remedy cell site issues.Transitioned from telecommunications to the DOE sector during my first nuclear site assignment at Yucca Mountain in Nevada. Yucca Mountain was a nuclear waste repository located at the Nevada Test Site. It was scheduled to house the nations nuclear waste from the nuclear power generation sites and the Nuclear reservation sites such as the Hanford, WA site. The project funding was not released during my second year so I then transitioned to the Hanford Site.At the Hanford site I served as a Structural Field Engineer on the Low Activity Waste facility at the River Protection Program and Waste Treatment Plant at the Hanford nuclear waste facility. After hurricane Katrina I relocated to Omaha to work on the Fort Calhoun nuclear power station in Fort Calhoun, NE acting as a senior field engineer.
