My work has focused on building and rebuilding organizations, developing leaders, bringing together diverse communities and uniting them in action resulting in significant social change. As the Lead Organizer for the Calgary Alliance, I led the building of an organization whose membership is over 30,000 people, which has won campaigns worth over $5 billion and has helped thousands of people to have a better quality of life. In this role, I have taught hundreds of people leadership skills. When I worked as a pastor, I helped a congregation transform from decline into growth. I successfully brought faith leaders together in dialogue and public action locally, nationally and internationally. We live in a unique time. I care about enabling people, organizations and communities to live into the opportunity and responsibility before us.
