• I have just recently completed a 2nd Level 3 NVQ in mechanical fitting to further my qualifications and become multi-skilled. The duties include:
• Assembling mechanical products to build sub-sea equipment, such as body rings, ROV panels, Block tree valves, Actuators, Gate valves and Main valve bodies.
• Pipe bending and fitting to 3D piping models and schematic drawings.
• Torqueing components to the required specification manually and pneumatically.
• Operating overhead cranes safely lifting and slinging components and products in excess of 90 tonnes.
• Working both individually and in a small team to complete certain tasks.

• Apprentice trained CNC Machinist My duties and skills include:
• Setting and machining on a Giddings & Lewis 5 axis horizontal boring machine using the Siemens 840D Sinumerik control.
• Worked with different attachments such as the Davis Head, Outfeed bars and angled head.
• Machining a range of materials from Alloy steel to Incolnel/ cladded Inconel weld.
• Altering and proving out new programmes.
• Understand and follow machine drawings.
