Management-level, responsible for environmental compliance at large manufacturing site in Ottumwa, Iowa. John Deere Ottumwa Works manufactures round balers, large square balers, small square balers, and self-propelled windrowers; 80 acre manufacturing plant, employing 600+ employees. Ensure compliance with Title 5 permit, POTW permit, hazardous waste, SWPPP, SPCC, EPCRA (chemical management), CERCLA, TSCA, management of asbestos and PCBs, and a soil management plan. Supervise the on-site Environmental Engineer.

Responsible for a team of 5, that collaborates with engineering teams, and landfill gas contractors to ensure Gas System Maintenance is efficiently supervised with all federal regulations in mind. Develop and coach gas crew members to understand regulatory processes with safety and appropriate response time to all maintenance activities. Collaborate with accounting team to follow budgets and fiscal models set to ensure our GCCS is on task. Review and collect data from GCCS operations to prepare reporting and use for analysis, to share with gas contractors and regulatory departments. Work with our operations team to ensure construction projects and crew members are on task for site development.
