In this role, I directed all leasing initiatives for two shopping centers in the Atlanta, GA area (Mall of Georgia & Town Center at Cbb). This included extensive redevelopment recommendations, account management, negotiation efforts with key retailers, renewals, and canvassing/networking with potential tenants or other development partners. My contributions include:• Revamping the strategic property and merchandising vision for Town Center at Cobb, which is a significantly challenged retail property in the Atlanta suburbs. This effort included engaging with non traditional entertainment concepts and Multi-Family Development companies to accelerate redevelopment plans for the center.• Launching a successful leasing campaign to sign significant brands to fill the mall’s vacant food court space, adding Taco Bell and PacMan Zone locations to which improved foot traffic among targeted demographics, such as families and college students.• Finalizing multiple deals that ensured the mall occupancy rates stayed above the key 80% threshold. • Initiated and negotiated deals with several key tenants for the Mall of Georgia, including Urban Outfitters and Allied E-Sports, to energize the center with relevant retail brands and entertainment.

As the leasing representative, I established comprehensive leasing and merchandising plans for several retail centers in Florida and Puerto Rico. I managed all aspects of tenant accounts and communication, as well as canvassing, networking, new leases, and renewals. My focus was on developing and maintaining positive relationships with retailers, vendors, and other important stakeholders. My contributions included:• Finalizing complex deals with several non-traditional retail & entertainment concepts, such as The Skywheel, Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, I Love Sugar, and The Jacksonville Icemen Skating Facility, to broaden reach in the trade area. • Bringing in 46K sqft of new tenants to the Plaza Carolina in Puerto Rico, which filled extensive voids left by Hurricane Maria.

In this initial leasing position, I was the analytical lead for Simon’s Southeast Division. With a strong focus on property improvement, I partnered on the leasing efforts for two major redevelopment campaigns at Lenox Square in Atlanta and The Florida Mall in Orlando. My contributions included:• Completing over 19 leasing contracts, which introduced unique & non mall brands such Bose, Garrett Popcorn Shop, Spoleto, Taziki's, and Sugarfina to the malls. • Developing a detailed leasing analytical tool that provided valuable net impact data on relocations and expansions, which was used extensively during planning phases.

As a supporting lead for Simon’s Leasing Account Group, I tracked the data for many national tenant accounts across the portfolio, which included expirations, total rent, square footage, and lease clauses. Analyzing this crucial data, I provided detailed reporting which allowed the team to make effective data-driven decisions on renewal negotiations and other leasing actions. My contributions included:• Delivering positive solutions to complex tenant issues and reducing overall risk in long-term contracts. • Researching lease language and clauses and consulting the team on specific courses of action.

In this entry-level position within Simon, I negotiated disputes and settlements, successfully clearing outstanding balances. I was team lead for 5 analysts who monitored numerous national retail accounts and was tasked with rent collection and problem resolution. In addition, I was assigned to several troubled tenant accounts and consistently resolved complex collection issues.

In this position I supported the budget managers tasked with compiling all financial data and presentation material used by the City Counsel to review all funding requests within the City/County government. Key projects completed included the cost analysis of certain 3rd party services done for the County that allowed for better negotiation of contracts & reduced expense to the taxpayers.
