Through this 12 week internship with Buckeye Trading, who is Carolina Prep & Ship's sister company, I was a Supply Chain Management Intern who specialized in finding more efficient processes. I transformed the way data was exchanged by creating an excel macro that made it easier for warehousing data to be transferred between management and the various customers. I also scheduled and facilitated various pickup and deliveries of product. This required lots of coordination with an assortment of people from the office manager to the warehouse workers. I learned how to communicate effectively with a variety of people from this experience further proving my interest in the supply chain field.

I learned an abundance of knowledge from my internship experience with Carolina Prep and Ship. I facilitated the packaging and labeling of outbound orders daily. One of my overarching projects was to create a visual campaign to instruct future hires on the basics of the required tasks. I also collaborated with a variety of people, ranging from the CEO to warehouse workers to simplify processes throughout my internship.

This was a summer job where I collaborated with a team to produce a custom garage floor finish. After proving myself, I became solely in charge of any prep work for projects.
