Ryan is a registered civil engineer with over 30 years of professional experience, primarily related to the mining industry. His experience related to mining projects is diverse and includes projects in the gold, silver, copper, lithium and beryllium commodities and at locations throughout the western Unites Dates and internationally. Ryan’s experience has given him excellent insight into heap leach and tailings storage facility operation and design, from inception through closure. This experience began with performing field and laboratory QA/QC and site investigation duties and later to being the field project engineer during construction of heap leach pads and tailing storage facilities. This initial experience provided firsthand experience to construction and reinforced the philosophy that engineering designs needed to have a contractibility review in addition to a technical/analytical review.His experience expanded to being a lead designer, project manager and Engineer of Record for multifaceted projects that include tailings and mine waste facilities, water storage reservoirs and storm water diversion/management structures, and heap leach and ore processing facilities. He also participates in due diligence, third party reviews and Independent Tailings Review Boards. Prior to becoming CEO, he has also been a business operational manager for groups ranging in size from 40 to 100 full-time and contract staff consisting of civil and geotechnical engineers, AutoCAD drafters/designers, and administrative support staff. Business operational duties include creating operational budgets for revenue, expenses, and profit, management and allocation of staff, monthly and quarterly financial reporting and management.
