Ryan Barrick is a student at Colorado Media School, an intern at KKFN 104.3 The Fan and works at gomilehigh.com as an internet radio show host.Ryan went to the University of Northern Colorado for one year where he studied journalism and worked at UNC Student Radio where he hosted two shows: a sports week-to-week review and also did a NFL fantasy football show. At the student radio station, he also did play-by-play along with color commentating for the UNC hockey games. After a year at UNC, he transferred to Colorado Media School where he does a two hour sports show for gomilehigh.com. Ryan also interns at 104.3 The Fan working with The Drive with Big Al and D-Mac. In addition, he also works with Drew, Sandy and Scott where he answers the phones for callers and writes up descriptions of every hour of each show. Ryan is looking to enter sports broadcasting with either television or radio; his ultimate goal is to reach ESPN or NFL Network one day. Throughout high school, Ryan played many different sports, including action sports, track and field, basketball, football, baseball, and speedball. Ryan is enlisting into the Marine Corps Reserves and will leave for boot camp upon graduation at Colorado Media School; as a Marine Corps Reservist he will work as a Communications Specialist.
