Jot built mobile notarization as a service! Worked on a short term contract for FAM Brands, a conglomerate of fitness and active wear brands in Southern California. I am helping to expand their successful business to business wholesale model into a direct to consumer ecommerce platform. UCode is an education startup teaching kids 6-18 math and computer science as an after school program. My core responsibility as Software Developer was building and maintaining a robust LMS platform. Initially the LMS was in the form of a monolithic Rails application. The company ultimately acted on my recommendation this past December to move to a third party LMS core content management system the we could extend with the LTI protocol. After our migration I went on to build several custom LTI learning modules including 1) student source code evaluation, execution, and linting. 2) A simple, flexible backend framework for the students to use until they were able to build their own backend applications. 3) A typing tutor application for the younger students. These products went on to become the core of our company's franchise product launched in July.
