With nearly 10 years of experience in developing and leading innovative solutions leveraging optimization and automation, I am passionate about writing software which enables businesses to perform at their highest capacity. I have a master's degree in electrical engineering, and a strong background in physics-based modeling, machine learning, and optimal control. I am currently a staff engineer and a technical lead for the OpenBlue CUP (Central Utility Plant) product [https://www.johnsoncontrols.com/openblue/openblue-central-utility-plant] at Johnson Controls, a global leader in smart and healthy buildings. As the technical lead, I oversee a team of 5 engineers who are responsible for developing the algorithms behind the software that optimizes and automates the operation of central utility plants, which are complex systems that provide heating, cooling, and electricity to large facilities. I also collaborate with product management, deployment, and customer success teams to ensure that our product meets the needs and expectations of our clients, and that our solution is properly set up and commissioned on site. Additionally, I share my expertise and insights across engineering teams to enhance the product overall. Some of the skills that I use and develop in my role are Machine Learning, Optimization, Artificial Intelligence, MATLAB, Python.
Listed skills include Matlab, Labview, Statistics, Fluorescence Microscopy, and 4 others.
