As a Global Student Ambassador, I marketed study abroad to students through social media, tabling, and peer-to-peer advising. Managing the school study abroad Instagram page, I created posts and stories using Canva to advertise student experiences abroad. I started multiple marketing campaigns to attract students to study abroad, including having returning/current abroad students share their experiences, reasons why they should study abroad, and tips to prepare for their departure.Another aspect of the job was working with exchange students currently at UMB. Being a resource for their questions was critical, and I also created a biweekly newsletter of local events they could attend for low cost around Boston. In October I planned, managed, and led a group of 12 students on a trip to Salem, MA, where they experienced the halloween atmosphere of the town which held the famous witch trials in the seventeenth century.

Along with the writing projects listed previously, I managed a team of 10 writers to contribute to the VA blog website. I researched veterans to write about for them, and held weekly meetings with the team to answer any inquiries and alert them of any new projects or initiatives. I filled out evaluations for each writer, and noted areas of strength and areas of improvement.

Researched, wrote, and edited Veteran of the Day and other VA blog posts. Using the Library of Congress archive, newspaper articles, Medal of Honor citations, and more, I drafted blog posts highlighting the service of particular veterans. These blogs followed APA style formatting, and the blogs which have been published so far are listed below.

In the backroom, I offloaded the pallets of merchandise from the delivery truck and with a small team, organized all the merchandise in an efficient manner. On the sales floor, I would take said merchandise and organize it neatly and in a shop-able way for customers to pick out. Eventually, I trained new employees to offload deliveries and organize products on the sales floor.
