Responsible for estimating, planning and overseeing a wide range of different construction projects from beginning to end. Tasks include creating/balancing budgets, contract documentation, procurement of building materials, collaborating with subcontractors/homeowners/property managers and ensuring all safety and code regulations are met.

- Sole Inspector and Estimator of all residential and commercial losses for the Rebuild Division.- Other duties include but not limited to scheduling inspections, correspondence with insurance adjusters and supplemental/retail estimates. - Completing reports on time with accuracy.- Provides photo documentation of loss locations.- Gathering information of property conditions and hazards.- Recommends changes in procedures and work methods related to enforcement of building codes.

Estimator Division Manager: Manage a team of estimating specialists in providing reliable, consistent, timely and accurate estimating services- Complete structured team/project planning including scheduling, resourcing, and training.- Deliver allocated projects and operational objectives, managing and mitigating risks, monitoring progress, and effectively engaging resources to achieve required outcomes within agreed budget and time frames.- Manages the estimating team in the assembly and submission of bids.- Consults with clients, architects, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effect cost reductions, and resolve issues. - Coordinate and plan multiple estimates simultaneously as well as review multiple estimates that vary in size and complexity to ensure that workloads are appropriate and performance levels are maintained and regularly, review, monitor and report on the overall progress of estimates being provided against required delivery times.- Oversee customers and take care of customer needs - Manage relationships with centers of influence (COIs) - Oversee scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews following SERVPRO® Franchise production guidelines - Manage job file documentation, job profitability, and efficiencies - Train, manage, and recruit production personnel - Create and/or review job scopes and ensure accuracy and claritySr. Project Estimator: - Inspect and write estimates for large losses to commercial and residential properties. - Work with insurance companies to ensure quality estimates of losses to properties. - Ensure timely completion and documentation of loss details to homeowners, agents and insurance adjusters.

Inspect residential and commercial properties for remodeling work and/or damages after sustaining a loss. Write estimate for retail or insurance related work and losses. Create budgets, assign Construction Managers and oversee restoration/repairs to facilities and homes. Ensure work is completed on budget and schedule.

- Primary focus on the inspection, damage estimating and procurement of jobs to residential and commercial properties based on Building Damage Estimating guidelines for losses related to insurance claims. - Inspected, reviewed and devised Disaster Preparation Plans for over 40 hospitals and Immediate Care Facilities across several states for use in case of large losses to facilities. Details for each facility included documenting the specifics on security code access throughout the entire facilities, building composition makeup to facilitate immediate board up and rebuild needs, planning/staging areas for emergency services equipment, access/entry points for entire facility, list of building personal for emergency contacts/approvals, location of utilities, utilities stations and shut-offs. - Comprise retail bid proposals for similar structures and types of losses.

1st Responder duties entailed a timely contact and inspection of new losses to residential and commercial properties in order to assess the scope of damage as well as potential insurance claims coverage. Filing of detailed initial inspection reports and potential courses of action for companywide department head reviews were required. Other tasks include but were not limited to writing scopes of repairs via Xactimate, meeting with insurance claim adjusters, various contract and material signings/selections with homeowners. Superintendent of ReconstructionWorking as the point of contact with homeowners and building management companies for the daily monitoring of jobsites throughout their reconstruction phase within a designated zone. Setting and running pre-construction meetings with labor crews, advising on expected job tasks, completion schedules and monitoring of all jobsite progress to ensure completion within time and budget guidelines.

A/R duties include but are not limited to the review of all jobs submitted for build to ensure accurate insurance estimates, completion of government required documents and proper job materials ordered. Billing of the property owner for all work completed, entering of all payments for the job being built and warranty processing upon payment in full. Estimator/Inspector duties include a physical inspection of properties for large scale estimates and working with all departments management to write the final bid proposals for said properties.

Outside Property Claims Adjuster responsible for inspection losses to residential and commerical properties. Specifics included maintaining/organizing my own set schedule to contact the named insured on policy, set inspection date/time for losses at the loss location, on-site inspection, review and documentation of the loss to include a detailed scope of the damages, review the insurance policy for coverage, writing a complete damage repair estimate of any covered loss and settling the claims to strict insruance guidelines and standards.

Duties consisted of opening files on Fleet Lease vehicles that were involved in accidents, verifiying all vehicle information, sending vehicles to auto auctions nationwide review and acceptance of bids and completion of all final vehicle sales paperwork (title transfer, sale documentation, ect).

Duties consisted interior and exterior remodeling and new construction of various properties in the Chicago-land area. Expertise with large scale fire escapes and interior carpentry to specific code requirements with working being completed within deadlines set forth in contracts.

As a structural specialist I was trained in all aspects of carpentry to obtain the certification of "Journeyman" upon completion. My continued training included other areas in the construction field including but not limited to locksmith work, sheet metal fabrication, masonry, concrete and all welding. My war time job duty was a Chemical and Biological Decontamination Instructor training military personal in proper procedures to remove chemical and biological warfare suits without contaminating themselves and preventing loss of life.
