In working as a Security Valuations Administrator in the Traditional funds team for Maitland group I am responsible for the valuation of financial instruments through various internal processes and by extension the input, update and verification of all daily prices into current investment systems. In the role you are further required to do the following:• Achieve deliverables against agreed upon deadlines and managing of expectations with clients• Update of Static Data whether from new instruments or that of historic data• Overseeing of production and processes within the team• Training of new staff and streamlining of internal processes• Verify on a daily basis that all systems have been updated through external price feeds and that the data is correct• Update of process documentation due to changes in procedures or additional responsibilities allocated to the individual
