Assisting in revisions to make their vision come together and help them grow sales. Along with multiple licensed brands to make sure brand standards are followed.

Lakeshirts is a screen print, sublimation and embroidery company that produces all sorts of t-shirts, sweatshirts and pants. The majority of our customers come from one of three different divisions, Resort, College or Spirit (which is k-12). I personally work as an artist in the college division where Lakeshirts holds over 400 college and university licenses and 30+ conference licenses. Lakeshirts is also 1 of 12 NCAA apparel licensees and is also licensed with over 30 bowls and are a part of the CFP (College Football Playoff) Apparel. We also print shirts for the NCAA Final Four, NCAA Frozen Four and both the baseball and softball College World Series. These along with the College Football Bowl season and College Football Playoff are some of our busiest times of the year where we have at least one artist at the plant at all times of the day and night. When there is a big game we often have orders for both teams playing and the second the game is over we are printing shirts for the winning team that they usually receive the next day. My day to day responsibilities include taking a design and change it so that it will work with a different school's brand standards. I also have to work with different sales representatives all around the U.S. and licensing companies to get these design approved so that we can print the shirt. When the shirts get printed there are times when they do not turn out the way we originally planned so with the knowledge of different ways of printing on a shirt effect the outcome, problem solving is a big part of my job. Along with changing designs for different schools there are other projects that I have worked on. The most notably being that I along with another co-worker are creating videos for the company for marketing and internal purposes.

Lakecrest Resort is a resort that my parents used to own that I worked at from a very early age. At the resort I do whatever is needed of me which the majority of the time is helping out my dad with different jobs that need to be done. Also I do a lot of work on the grounds mowing the grass and keeping the grounds looking nice.

As an intern at Lakeshirts I helped create the 120 page Resort catalog along side one other full time employee. After the Resort catalog was complete I was responsible for converting it to their College catalog.

I started this job my freshman year of college. I put together high school and middle school kids’ sports pictures into different graphic items such as buttons, frames with their team and other like items. This was a college job that I worked at during the school year.
