Worked full time in an unpaid role for a 5 week externship program requirement. Successfully completed each week with high remarks in nearly every area of my scope of practice to include: taking vitals, charting patient information, giving injections, executing venipunctures, specimen collection and testing, EKG's, assisting provider with suture removal and joint injections, administering medications and processing prescriptions.

As an Administrative and Training NCO I assisted in the daily operations for the 112th Brigade Support Company out of Corsicana, TX. I was actually assigned to Brigade headquarters in San Antonio, TX. But my help was needed in Corsicana to help with the administrative functions of the main company, and two detached units out of Wylie, TX and San Antonio, TX. I worked daily on any and All Administrative functions including but not limited to:. Advancements and Promotions.. Awards Processing.. Management over removing soldiers from employment IE: AWOL discharge, General ETS discharge, Interstate/intrastate transfers.. Medical appointment scheduling.. Updating emergency contact information.. Daily communications regarding soldier medical status to upper management.. Assisted weekly with logistic missions including transporting equipment and or personnel.. Worked monthly handling company newsletters providing relevant information to all company employees and separate detachments.. I spent several months out of the 4 years assigned managing the main company on my own including physical security, maintenance, and my usual daily operations.I was ultimately medically retired out of the service in 2016 after suffering several severe injuries while enlisted.

Worked closely with the Brigade Commander as his personal assistant and fulltime driver. I worked closely with his Aid De Camp to assist in administrative duties which were key to his success as a leader. Lead maintenance projects involving complex weapon systems. Worked diligently in the daily operations of leadership personnel transportation. Transferred out of that position to work for the J3 Operations section to assist them in daily battle tracking operations and the scheduling of key leadership meetings. Worked diligently to assist in the tracking and upkeep of over $50,000 worth of government equipment.

Worked part time one weekend a month and two weeks out of the year as a human resource specialist with an Engineer unit in Lewisville, TX. Assisted administrative sections with tasks including official correspondence memoranda, phone calls, meeting preperation, and logistics functions.

Deployed to Iraq in support of operation Iraqi Freedom. I Worked daily along side executive leadership processing advanced administrative functions including awards, advancements and promotions, official correspondence memoranda, mail, red cross correspondence, handling of classified sensitive information, handling multi-line phone's, and other assignments as necessary.

I worked fulltime as an entry level federal technician for my assigned unit processing official correspondence memoranda, handling multi-line phone calls, handling mail, processing other administrative tasks and going out on official assignment as needed.

Enlisted into the Armed forces on February 2nd, 2007. I completed my military training in May of 2007. During said training I proficiently learned the concepts necessary to become a combat ready soldier and a specialist in my field of Human Resources. In this field of specialized training we were taught how to process administrative functions such as official correspondence memoranda, process pay, process advancements and promotions. We were also trained in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, and excel. I then returned home to my unit in the Texas National Guard and did this job part time National Guard until July 2007.
