An evidence-based nonprofit that builds self-esteem, and develops social, communication, and job skills through the performing and expressive arts for 150 families with developmental disabilities annually.OPERATIONS AND HRDevelop and monitor the operational systems, processes, and policies to support successful implementation of various educational, behavioral, social, and recreational programs. Responsible for growth and development of all programs and serve as the sole point of contact for all program and operational needs.Establish and oversee program proposals, budgets, and schedules. Connect with other local organizations and facilitate community relationships. Act as program liaison to the Board of Directors.Construct program-specific training materials to orient, teach, and supervise new hires and volunteers. Recruit and manage a staff of 13 employees, 2 interns with disabilities, and over 150 volunteers a year.FUNDRAISINGSuccessfully obtained grants and received organizational funding from a variety of family, public and community foundations.Create a strong fundraising message that appeals to potential donors. Brainstorm novel fundraising methods. Manage donor databases. Train and coordinate personnel for fundraising events.PROGRAM AND PROJECT MANAGEMENTDevelop and lead training workshops using expressive and performing arts to build communication, social and job skills, and interpersonal connections throughout the US and in Hong Kong. Create curricula, write, direct, produce, and teach social skills classes; 22-week theatre and film programs; and annual camps for children, teens, and young adults with developmental disabilities. Independently and co-teach classes for up to 30 students with disabilities (speaking and non-speaking).COMMUNICATIONSOversee digital organizing and fundraising efforts, including crafting topline messaging and content across multiple communication channels, including social media and email distribution platforms.
