Serve as a direct point of contact for the Office of the Comptroller (IOC) to government entities located in Illinois referred to as Local Claiming Entities (LCE) in the Local Debt Recovery Program (LDRP). Collect LCE documentation, forms needed for enrollment and help LCEs navigate the enrollment process. Provide program support to LCEs. Respond to inquires from LCEs regarding the program, including providing technical support. Maintain relationships and serve as a point of contact to participating LCEs. Be a field of presence for the program and conduct the necessary travel to accomplish this goal. Plan LDRP outreach initiatives. Engage other LCEs through: direct contact, seminars and requesting referrals from participating LCEs. Train LCE staff on how to navigate IDROP and other software portals. Review claims submitted by LCEs to ensure they confirm to LDRP standards and work with LCEs to rectify claims that do not. Follow up with appropriate IOC divisions regarding the status of the LCEs activity in the program. Complete all necessary administrative personnel forms for internal audit purposes.
