Who I am: In terms of the business world, I am an individual with a passion for numbers. I love learning new things and am a quick learner. I like challenges and the feeling of achievement after being put to the test. I enjoy being part of a team and bonding with the team. Although details are important, I always keep the bigger picture in mindAt home and the outside world, I am a friend and family man. I love having my friends around me and savour thought provoking conversations. Loyalty is important to me and I enjoy being a confidant. I love spending as much time as I can appreciating the outdoors and nature. I love physical activity and pushing myself. I dedicate time to training in the gym and playing as well as watching all sports, and if I had to choose a preference it would be football and golf.I hold a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree and Post graduate degree in Management Accounting (CTMA) through UNISA. My aim is to write the CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) final exams next year (2016). I wish to diversify my knowledge of accounting and auditing into the new field of management accounting.My skills and strengths: I have always been a quick learner as I tackle problems logically. I have an affinity with numbers and was the top mathematics student in my school in matric. I have been using computers from a young age and find it easy to learn new computer programs. I have completed 5 years of SAICA articles at an auditing firm (with 2 years post articles) and have been exposed to a vast number of business environments learning many business skills along the way.
