I started out as a trainee electrician in 2012, working on domestic and commercial properties. I did this for 5 years before I wanted a new challenge in a different electrical sector, this was when I started at Wabtec Faively UK as a electrician. I built my knowledge on trains on the Renatus 321 contract before I was promoted to team leader in January of 2018. In this position I had many roles and responsibilities to ensure the vehicle went out to the client exactly how specified,as well as aiding my team to help them meet they're maximum potential. I them moved into a quality inspecting role check the standard of complete work and raising any issues to the team leader for them to be corrected. This was only a small part of my job as I also had to audit documentation to make sure everything was being completed and signed for correctly. After doing this job for a year I was again promoted to quality engineer for the vehicles sector working closely with the customers.
