Ryan Blaise is an illustrator currently based in New York, NY. His passion lies in the creation of whimsical illustrations for children's books, using cut paper as a platform for mixed media illustration. Since his youth, he has been inspired by nature, having had many pets, from dogs and cats, to horses and goats; even a llama! From his small hometown, tucked up in the northern part of New York State, to travelling to school at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, Ryan has developed his view and style, driving his focus toward developing new and interesting illustrative techniques. He hopes to use his experiences thus far, and pursue a meaningful career in the arts, learning as much as possible as well as exploring new venues to give purpose to his creations.
