It was a great introduction to the consulting industry, where I was exposed to various projects relating to the water industry. My main tasks included completing hydraulic analyses for proposed private development in various municipalities, occasional site inspections, and drawing creation/updating of existing and proposed infrastructure. I improved many technical skills through the use of various software, but the thing that improved the most was my communication with team members. Starting the co-op mostly online was difficult, but I found ways to connect with people to gain advice and improve my working relationships. This allowed me to be a much more effective team member.
