Global Commodity Manager - Metals
CurrentOversee eight direct reports across NA, EU and AP in the quoting, sourcing and technical execution of all Metal commodities worldwide within Cooper Standard.Lead all VAVE and cost reduction roadmaps as well as tend to all supply chain disruptions and constraints with the cross-functional support of supplier development and operation colleagues.Identify and develop new supply chain partners to better geographically and technically align with Cooper Standard requirements and demands.Commodities Managed:- Coiled raw materials (aluminum, stainless and carbon steel)- Stampings- Machined Components- Fiber Glass and Stainless Steel Braided Hose- Clamps- Metal Extrusions and Injection Moldings- Fasteners- Decorative Trim (stamped and/or roll-formed)- Metal carriers (solid core, lanced and stretched, wire)- ValvesBudget and execute all direct cost reductions as well as forecast and execute cost analyses based on micro and macro raw material trends across the globe.
