Hello, my name is Ryan Bowyer, and I am currently a first- year student at the Farmer School of Business with a major in Business Analytics. I am a recent graduate of St. Charles Preparatory School in Columbus, Ohio. Also, during my time high school I gained and refined my skills of communication, problem solving and working in teams through my time working as a goalie coach for young hockey players and working at the front desk of a community recreation center.So far in my time at Miami I have participated in the Farmer School of Business First Year Integrated Core, (FYIC), Challenge where me and my peers worked as a team to help solve a problem within a company using the things we learned that semester. Outside of the classroom I have also grown my abilities as a leader as I am now training to become a supervisor at the Goggin Ice Center here at Miami. Additionally, I am currently in the final stages of becoming a member of the Miami University chapter of the business fraternity Phi Gamma Nu.
