I am a versatile drummer with a passion for jazz. This fall, I will further develop my skills as I pursue third year as an undergraduate Bachelor of Music degree, with a major in Jazz Studies & Contemporary Media (performance- drum set) at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. I previously attended the Eastman School of Music Summer Jazz Studies Program in 2014 & 2015 and the Summer Jazz II Session at Birch Creek Music Performance Center in 2014. Working privately with some of the best jazz drummers around, I am working on mastering my skills as a jazz musician. My past experience includes being the co-founder and drummer for the alternative rock band, The Giving Moon for over 5 years, performing across the U.S., and working with musician and producer Gary Hoey for our band's first EP, The Wild.

I am currently in my second year as a full time member of The Youth Jazz Ensemble of DuPage, a non-profit 501 (c) high school level conglomerate honors jazz ensemble. Their mission is to assemble, by audition the top high school jazz talent in the DuPage and surrounding Chicagoland area and combine their skills in the performance of jazz music literature. As drummer of The Giving Moon, I performed over 75 live performances at venues including the infamous Whisky A Go Go and House of Blues plus many music festivals across America and recorded drums at Studio Metronome in Brookline, NH for a 6 song EP, The Wild, that released on itunes on June 25, 2013. Our band worked with Gary Hoey as our producer for our EP. We also performed opening shows for Eddie Money, John Cafferty, Edgar Winter, Gary Hoey and Tommy and the High Pilots.
